Product Description The new Ripstick combines all the fun and excitement of surfing and snowboarding and puts it on wheels. Inspired by the classic shape and design of a skateboard, the Ripstick looks like something out of the future. Instead of the traditional four-wheel skateboard, this amazing board can make smooth, quick 360-degree turns on just two wheels. Just stand on the sturdy traction plates and subtle movements propel the Ripstick even up a hill! The front and rear flexible panels are controlled by a spring-oriented bar located on the top of the wheels. The rugged polyurethane wheels are 77mm/85A with ABEC-5 bearings. Separating the two traction plates is a padded rubber carrying handle. Measures 33.5" long x 10" wide. Weighs 8 lbs. Wear helmet and pads for safety. 90-day warranty.

SICK AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! January 3, 2009 these things are sick fun! i got one for xmas and the only thing i do outside! They aren't that hard to ride. I've fallen only three times on a crack filled driveway. The best way to spend a day! Ps. I might do a video review with some footage of me riding.
LIKE NOTHING EVER BEFORE!!!!!!!!! January 1, 2009 Nakkonoa The ripstik is GREAT! On my 5th try I mastered it. It has awsome turns cause the two wheels can turn. I HIGHLY recomend this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORD
Bought for 9 year old December 29, 2008 T. Fields This is alot more fun than a skateboard. Since you move forward by twisting your hips there is less time spent with your foot off the board. After a couple of times trying, my 9 year old son and I were both able to stay on. Watching someone ride this board is fun. It has a fluid look to its motion once you get the hang of it. At first I was apprehensive at the cost, but now that I have tried it, I recommend buying a Ripstick
So much fun !!! December 29, 2008 Sandra Teele (Hawaii) One of the best inventions I wish I had as a kid. I find myself riding this thing for hours. I love it!! It's great on large paved areas where you can turn quickly, go down hill, and turn 360 degrees. It's not as much fun to travel miles on the Ripstik on a narrow sidewalk, where turning and circling is impossible. The most difficult part of learning to ride the Ripstik, is learning how to get on and off of it without killing yourself. Once you've mastered that, its a breeze propelling yourself forward. After one push I can ride for a long time. Actually, you can even keep on going until you want to stop. It does take a sense of balance, though, which you develop very quickly after practicing awhile. I previously purchased the Wave Board, and I didn't like it as much as the Ripstik. The Wave Board is heavier, and I found that it was not as maneuverable as the Ripstik. The torsion bar is shorter on the Wave Board making quick turns more difficult. The foot spikes on the Wave gets in the way of positioning your feet. I totally recommend the Ripstik. You can go pretty fast on it, get a good workout and not even realize you are working out, because you are having so much fun! I look forward to riding this street surfing board whenever I can, while keeping an eye out for new areas to ride it. You are never too old to ride it, either. I'm 50, and it is now my favorite sport.
Great deal! December 22, 2008 M. Nagel (Maple Grove, Mn) This was a great deal and got to pick our color. Saved me on tax and shipping. My 9 year old loves this ripstik. Had to talk with Ripstik customer service about a part and they were very helpful and efficient. Would buy again.
