The Ugg Classic Short is an easy on, easy off warm winter boot. Extremely basic, no detail, great with jeans. Not a great boot for very long walks as the soles offer absolutely no support; that said, for short trips or if you'll mostly be in and out of the car, shops, restaurants, etc - a perfect winter accessory.

I recently purchased Crocs Nadia for my teenage daughter, and she says that they are not only a lot more comfortable, but they keep her feet warmer. And the Nadia's cost half what her old Uggs did.
