Found this item to be exactly what I was trying to find.
It worked as well as it was expected to and was a perfect replacement for the OEM, which was priced 2 times as much.

This 12V 110V adapter worked perfectly to power my Coleman thermoelectric cooler that draws a continuous 4.5 amps at 12V

This may be a great product for powering a 12v radio or a fan or something else requiring a low amperage power source. I bought it to power a blower to inflate air beds and pool toys and it didn't have the power to even turn the blower.
